Dr. Somanna Malchira

Dr. Somanna Malchira is a Consultant - Joint Replacement & Arthroscopic Surgery at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. He completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and MS in Orthopedics. Dr. Somanna  has also done a Fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi Kerala. 

Prior to Aster CMI Hospital, Dr. Somanna has been associated with various hospitals in India like Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Bangalore; Hosmat Hospital, Bangalore; Basappa Memorial Hospital, Mysore; Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore etc.

Due to his focused interest towards his field, Dr. Somanna has attended many conferences and seminars. Over the years, he has gained expertise in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy of Knee and Shoulder, Sports Medicine, Cartilage Repair and Joint Replacement Surgery.
