Dr. Sona Susan Abraham

Dr. Sona Susan Abraham is a Consultant in Endocrinology at the Batra Hospitals, Saket, New Delhi. With 8 years of medical practice, Dr. Abraham is an American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Diabetes along with exposure to a wide variety of complex endocrine problems. She also has a clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship in Endocrinology from the University of Maryland Medical Centre, and also has a Fellowship from Mercy Catholic Medical Centre Residency from the University of Kerala. Her expertise lies is areas like Endocrinology, Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Endocrine Disorders, Pregnancy, Osteoporosis, Parathyroid Disorders, Thyroid Disorders, and Pagets Disease. She is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD. During her training in the US, she has received awards for ‘Clinical Excellence in Medicine’ and for ‘Professionalism & Humanitarianism in Healthcare’. She is a member of, ADA, AACE, Endocrine Society of the US and ISPAE and been awarded fellowship of the ACP. Dr. Abraham has also been actively involved in different facets of research during her training in the US and has always held a keen interest in teaching.
