Dr. SS Bansal

Dr. S S Bansal is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Metro Hospital Faridabad. He has more than 27 years of experience in his medical profession. Dr. S S Bansal completed MBBS from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, MD in Internal Medicine and DM in Cardiology from Gujarat University, and DNB in Cardiology in August 1994. Further, he has undertaken fellowship of Society of Cardiovascular Interventions and American College of Cardiology. He has obtained his training certification in Stress and Transesophageal Echocardiography from Mayo Clinic, USA and Angioplasty programme from German Interventional Programme, Rodenberg Clinic, Fulda. Dr. S S Bansal has treated more than one lac heart patients with successful outcomes, performed over 350 angiographies and 250 heart procedures including pacemaker, stent, angioplasty, etc. He is one of the well-known heart specialists who performed femoral vein angioplasty with stenting in India in 2012. It is one of the rare cases that have been performed across the globe till date. Dr. S S Bansal has several awards and achievements to his credit. He was awarded as Entrepreneur of the year 2011 by Sh. Virbhadhra Singh - Hon'ble Union Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Industry of Govt. of India. He was a part of the faculty of Asia pacific vascular intervention course that held in New Delhi, India from June 8, 2012 to June 10, 2012. He also attended the Asian Cardiology society conference held in Malaysia. Dr. S S Bansal has written a book ‘All you need to know about Heart’ that got released by the Governor of Haryana, Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki in a book release ceremony at Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh on June 1, 2018.
