Dr. Subhashini Prabhakar

Dr. Subhashini Prabhakar is a Senior Consultant - Neurology at Apollo Health City, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. She completed her MBBS, MD in Internal Medicine and MNAMS in Neurology. Dr. Prabhakar is one of the members of Neurological Society of India NSI and has done Fellowship in Neuro Pathology, Case Western Reserve University in the year 1976 to 1978. After completing her course, Dr. Prabhakar was appointed as a Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine, L.S. Hospital, Boston (1972 – 73) and Neurology, Cleveland Clinic Ohio. (1973-1976). Later on, she went on to head the Department of Neurology at Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman (1997 – 2002) and now has been working in Apollo Hospitals since her last Assignment. She has her expertise in the field of stroke, dementia, and neuro immunology and due to her commitment in the medical society, Dr. Prabhakar is an active member of INDIAN ACADEMY OF NEUROLOGY, NEUROLOGICAL SOCIETY OF INDIA, AMERICAN ACADEMY OF NEUROLOGY and NATIONAL ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES INDIA.
