Dr. Sudeep Verma

Dr. Sudeep Verma is a Consultant - Paediatric Cardiology in Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Secunderabad. Dr. Sudeep Verma obtained his medical qualifications in pediatrics from MGM medical College - Maharaja Yashwantrao Holkar Hospital (MYH) and Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya (CNBC), Indore (Madhya Pradesh). Later, he started practicing as a pediatric intensivist and pediatric cardiac intensivist at B J Wadia Hospital for children Mumbai and Narayana Hrudyalaya Bangalore respectively. Dr. Sudeep Verma then went on to pursue his specialty training in pediatric cardiology from K M Cherian Heart Foundation - Frontier Lifeline Hospital in Chennai. Subsequently, he worked as a consultant at CARE hospital Banjara Hills Hyderabad in Department of Pediatric Cardiology. 

Dr. Sudeep Verma has an expertise in performing several pediatric cardiac interventional procedures for a wide range of diseases in pediatric age group and in GUCH ( Grown Ups with Congenital Heart diseases) population, including routine procedures like septal defects (ASD, VSD) and PDA closure, balloon valvuloplasty for pulmonary and aortic valve stenosis and cardiac catheterization and angiograms. He has also undergone special training in neonatal and complex procedures like PDA stenting, RVOT stenting, pulmonary valve perforation, coarctation stenting and fistula closures. 

He was among those who performed the first successful fetal cardiac intervention in the country. Also, Dr. Sudeep Verma was instrumental in conducting the first national workshop dedicated for transcatheter VSD closure.
