Dr. Sudhir Dubey is the Director - Neurosurgery, Institute of Neurosciences in Medanta The Medicity, Gurgaon. He completed his MBBS from King George’s Medical College receiving “Sir Rupkishan Das Gold Medal” for final year MBBS class. He went on to receive his basic neurosurgical training from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. To further polish his skills for endoscopic skull base procedures, Dr. Dubey went on to receive training from UPMC Pittsburgh, USA. He has also acquired special skills required for minimally invasive spine surgery from various centers in New York, Memphis, Denver, Chicago, and Boston. Before practicing at Medanta, Gurgaon, he also has headed departments of neurosurgery at Bhopal Hospital & Research Centre and Max Balaji Hospital, Delhi.
Dr. Sudhir Dubey has always excelled in his field and was recognized for his work on “brain tumor” was awarded internationally at Sydney, Australia in 2001. He is also the recipient of “Silver Jubilee Award” for the best outgoing student in Neurosurgery, NIMHANS. He is the first person from India to be awarded “Young Neurosurgeon’s Award” by World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. Dr. Dubey is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Neurological Society of India, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, USA, Skull Base Surgery Society of India (SBSSI) and Society of Neuro Oncology, USA.
His expertise lies in complex spine surgeries and is also one of the best endoscopic surgeons for brain tumors and especially Pituitary tumors.
