With years of experience, Dr. Sufla Saxena is an experienced and skilled personality. She has worked extensively in the field of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology in UK and India. After finishing her DNB training from India, she moved to the United Kingdom where she did her MRCPCH from Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (London). She has completed her fellowships in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology from prestigious Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital respectively.
Then she returned to India and joined Apollo Hospital Indore in July 2016. Being the only specialist in her field, she established Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology as a centre of excellence. She is currently offering her services at Manipal Hospital New Delhi as a Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist.
On the bases of her clinical outcomes, She has been dignified with various awards such as Most Charismatic Women 2018 by INMO group and NNF Gold Medal for best paper in Neonatology in PEDINEOCON 2006. She was also been awarded by Mayor of Indore for her contribution toward the sick children with liver disease.
She has published a case study “Role of Nutrition in Chronic Pancreatitis in children” in the Journal of Nutrition. Dr. Sufla Saxena has also written various Newspaper articles on Celiac disease, abdomen pain in kids (parents dilemma), rare case reports etc.
