Dr. Surender Kumar

Dr. Surender Kumar is a distinguished Endocrinologist of India. He obtained his MD and DM in Endocrinology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. During medical graduation, he was awarded one gold medal and three silver medals for his outstanding academic performance. His professional achievements include empanelment as an Examiner of DM (Endocrinology), and as the Diabetes Facilitator of The University of New Castle, (Diabetes Academy), Australia. He was also designated as the Head of the Department of Endocrinology, Army Research & Referral Hospital, Delhi Cantonment. He has conferred various national and international lectures on various aspects of Endocrinology. Since 2005, he has been playing a major role in organizing SAARC- Diabetes Conference in India. He also holds key memberships in various associations such as Association of Physicians of India (API), Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), American dietetic association (ADA), CSI, AES, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR), and Trauma Society of India (TSI). Today he owns three international publications and twenty national publications in Endocrinology and related topics. With an experience of over 30 years, his knowledge and accomplishments in this field have been phenomenal. Presently he is practicing as a Senior Consultant in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India.
