Dr. Sushum Sharma

Dr Sushum Sharma is an eminent doctor with vast experience. His educational qualifications include MBBS and MD degrees from King George Medical College, Lucknow. He has been associated with Max Healthcare as a HOD of Department of Internal Medicine and as a Director of Preventive Health Department, since 2007. Prior to this he was associated with the Central Hospital, Railways, New Delhi, as a Specialist Physician & Head of Medicine. He worked with this hospital for 25 years. His areas of specialization include Clinical Internal Medicine, Preventive Health and Lifestyle Disorders like Hypertension & Diabetes. Dr Sharma has achieved fellowship of Indian College of Physicians (FICP) and International Medical Science Academy (FIMSA). He is also a member of the Task Force for Indian Guidelines for Hypertension and the Editorial Board of Medicine Update (2005). Dr Sharma has been bestowed with the prestigious Railway Minister’s Award in the year 1986 and has chaired many National Conferences. Over 30 of his writings have also been published in Index Journals.
