Dr. Tanmai Deelip Yermal (Jain) is a respected and popular interventional cardiologist in Kharadi, Pune. The vice chancellor of MUHS University presented the "Nana Mone" best resident award to Dr. Tanmai, MD (Medicine) and DNB (Cardiology) in 2016. He graduated with a DNB in Cardiology from Bangalore's esteemed Narayanan Hrudayalaya.

In the ICMR trial of BCG immunization to prevent COVID-19 in older people, Dr. Tanmai Yermal co-investigated. Afterward, he worked as an associate consultant in cardiology at Manipal Hospital in Bangalore.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tanmai Yermal has served as the primary operator for many cardiac interventions, including more than 2,500 cases of peripheral and coronary angiography, a catheter study, and more than 500 cases of primary, elective, and complex coronary angiography, including bifurcation lesions, left main, multivessel, CTO, anomalous coronaries, OCT, and IVUS guided plastic surgery.

Dr. Tanmai has implanted permanent pacemakers, AICDs, ASDs, PFO devices, and PTMCs, among other cardiac devices. He has contributed to numerous structural cardiac interventions, such as carotid stenting, TAVI, LAA Device closure, PFO devices, and AAA stenting.
