Dr. Tarun Jhamb

An expert in treating Diabetes, Hypertension, and Chest Diseases, Dr. Tarun Jhamb is a Consultant of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Columbia Asia Hospital in Gurgaon. With degrees of MBBS from the B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad & MD (General Medicine) from the Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, also in Ahmedabad, Dr. Jhamb is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of work experience. Awarded with the Fellowship in Emergency Medicine (Royal College, UK Affiliation), Certificate Diploma Course in Critical Care (ISCCM), Fellowship of the American College of Chest Physician (FCCP) in the USA, and the Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) from the Apollo Hospitals, EDIC (Brussels), he is the founder of the Healthy Nation Corporation, an NGO offering medical services for poor patients. Dr. Jhamb is a published author with two International Publications and Poster Presentations. His publications include “Spectrum of Acinatobector Infection in Critically Ill Patients in a Tertiary Care Centre” presented at the 21st ESICM Annual Congress in Lisbon, Portugal in September 2008 and “A Comparative Study of Predictive Capability of Critical Illness Scores in Indian Patients” presented at Brussels Chest in 2007. An Executive Member of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Delhi & NCR Branch for the last eight years, he is a faculty at the FICM, FEM, BASIC (Hong Kong), ACLS (USA), FCCS (USA), and PTC - Trauma. Dr. Jhamb holds the membership of various renowned organizations, including the IMA, API, and the Nuvoing Home Association in Gurgaon.
