Dr. Vidyashankar P is a Lead Consultant - Nephrology in Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. HE completed his MBBS from Gulbarga University in 1996 and Diploma in Child Health (DCH) - Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India, 2000. To further polish his specialization, Dr. Vidyashankar underwent Nephrology training from prestigious Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai under the renowned nephrologists, Dr. Alan F Almeida and Dr. N.K Hase. Over the years, he has gained expertise in Percutaneous CAPD catheter insertion and Perm catheter insertion, Critical care Nephrology, Transplantation and Pediatric Nephrology. Due to his compassion for the field, Dr. Vidyashankar has attended various workshops and conferences and is also an active Member of Indian Society of Nephrology, Member of International Society of Nephrology and European Dialysis and Transplantation Association.
