Very knowledgeable medical professional with an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Shivakumar Varakanahalli was not persuaded that I had stomach or back pain and sent me for a CT scan. Different and seriously life-threatening, the cause was. His leadership helped to save my life.

Dr. Shivakumar Varakanahalli instantly suggested an endoscopic test for my stomach and gastric bloating, but I was hesitant, so the doctor used his skills to treat me with medications instead.

I had previously seen a number of doctors regarding my issue with poor body balance, but only Dr. Shivakumar Varakanahalli was able to determine that this was caused by a lack of vitamin B12. I completely agree with his diagnosis.

My diagnosis included possible Gilbert's syndrome and hyperbilirubinemia. I went to see Dr. Shivakumar Varakanahalli to get treated for the aforementioned issues. He properly identified the issue—in my instance, a vitamin B12 deficiency—and successfully addressed it. I couldn't believe a lack of one vitamin could lead to so many issues, but after therapy, all the symptoms subsided.
