March 8, International Women's day is celebrated extravagantly and cheerfully across the globe. So we thought this is the perfect time to share how women are mentally strong. We also take this chance to adore the remarkable celebrity women who managed to win over the deadly disease with inner strength and perseverance.

For several decades women have been considered as the weakest sex because she is physically and emotionally weak and think they are always extremely expressive. Most of the people believe that women cannot have control over their thoughts and are unaware of how to react to different situations and things that come our way. But, it is not true, women could be emotionally weak, but they are mentally stable and could bear extreme pain like childbirth. We have many examples of such women who broke all the stereotypes. All these statements do not define what it means to be a strong woman and how these qualities of emotional mastery can wisely be used as a weapon to thrive and survive in life and triumph over all the challenge that life throws at us.

Achieving inner peace and mental strength is not an easy job. It's one of the toughest things to attain, but it's the key to happy living and mental health. Strong women take a various approach to attain resilience and strength. The difficulty they overcome is tremendous, but one thing which could make this possible is being mentally tough. This shouldn't be so surprising to people because many are aware that mental toughness is essential to overcome the obstacles. Women by nature have this mental toughness to handle their stress, manage their emotions, and bear pain and find ways for success.

A life-threatening diagnosis will severely test her positive personality. The fight against a chronic disease like cancer is about those who have been affected or who are living with the disease but have decided to stay strong and chosen courage and bravery instead of letting the illness win.

She says that disease breaks you and scares you, but she wanted to change that fact and wanted to give hope and faith. Mumtaz was a beautiful actress and graceful dancer in 1970s later she was diagnosed with breast cancer. But despite her disease and several chemo sessions, with her courage and willpower, she won cancer even when she was in her 50s.

Not only the celebrities, but we also have common women who are viciously fighting against the illness with optimism. Diagnosis and treatment of cancer require a lot of strength and resilience. It is not very easy to undergo surgery and continuous chemo treatments. Severe nausea, bone pain, and a metallic taste in the mouth which doesn't let people eat are dreadful. Without courage and strength, it is impossible to overcome.
