One of Delhi's most well-known medical gastroenterologists and hepatologists is Dr. Avnish Seth. The former director of the Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Sciences Department at the Gurgaon-based Fortis Memorial Research Institute is Dr. Avnish Seth. He invented organ donation after brain death as the founding director of the Armed Forces Organ Retrieval & Transplant Authority in North India (AORTA). He started his work in gastroenterology and hepatobiliary sciences more than twenty years ago.

Work and achievements of Dr. Avnish Seth-

As the founding director of the Armed Forces Organ Retrieval & Transplant Authority, Dr. Avnish Seth led the way to organ donation after brain death in North India (AORTA). He is a specialist in creating the Gastroenterology and Organ Retrieval & Transplantation departments at several hospitals. Dr. Seth has also received the Vishisht Seva Medal from the President of India (VSM). Furthermore, he is actively interested in raising health awareness through various speeches and forums. He has published more than 100 times.

Dr. Avnish Seth has received numerous honors, including the Vishisht Seva Medal from the President of India in 2009 for starting the first successful liver transplant program in a government hospital at the Army Hospital (Research & Referral) in New Delhi and the Smt. Ranjana Vij Memorial Medal for taking the top MD Medicine position at the University of Poona.
