She has an experience of more than 37 years in the field of practising medicine. She has completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Jabalpur in the year 1977. She then decided to pursue obstetrics and gynaecology as her profession and did MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the same Government Medical College in the year 1980.
