Dr. D S Rana

For his remarkable achievements in the field of Nephrology, Dr. (Prof.) D.S. Rana needs no introduction. Currently, he is holding the position of Honorary Senior Consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is also the Chairman of the Dept. of Nephrology and the Secretary on the Board of Management of SRGH. He perused his elementary medical education from Medical College Shimla. Later on, he completed his special training at PGI, Chandigarh. Dr. Rana’s academic qualification includes MBBS, MD and MNAMS degrees. He holds an International Scholarship of Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA). His interest and achievements in Nephrology have earned him various recognitions including prestigious ‘Padma Shri’ award from the President of India. Going few extra miles above his professional responsibilities, Dr. Rana has made valuable contributions to the overall growth of the hospital.
