Dr Dinesh Bhurani is currently a Senior Consultant & Chief of Hemato Oncology Services at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi. Dr. Bhurani also serves as a Chief of Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi. After completing his MBBS and MD, Dr Dinesh Bhurani went on to pursue his DMin Hematology from Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore and became the first doctor to complete DM (Hematology) in India. To further excel in his field, he moved to Australia where Dr Dinesh trained for 3 years and also served at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Austin Hospital in Melbourne. During his brief stint in Australia, Dr Dinesh Bhurani obtained the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (FRCPA) . In his career of two decades, he has performed over 250 Cell transplants.
Before started practicing at RGCIRC, Dr Dinesh Bhurani was associated with CMC Vellore as a Consultant and Associate Consultant, Chairman, at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He has always been active in various presentations and conference. Currently, he is also a member of the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. In his career of two decades, he has contributed as Principal Investigator for various clinical trials relating to lymphoma, myeloma, and CLL, and has been Co-Investigator for many other Medical Oncology trials since 2007. Some of the services provided by the doctor are Bone Marrow Transplant, Blood Transfusion, Lymphatic drainage, Chelation therapy, Thalassaemia, Cell Transplantation, Biochemistry and Haemophilia.
