She has a special interest in diagnosis and treatment of diseases common to the tropics like Malaria, Leptospirosis, Dengue, Typhoid, Cholera, and Tuberculosis.She has handled patients with tuberculosis of spine, chest, abdomen, lymph nodes, genitourinary tract, and bones. She has managed infections like rickettsial infections, hydatid disease, cysticercosis, amoebiasis, tropical eosinophilia and filariasis besides rare bacterial and viral infections like Brucellosis, Ebstein Barr virus infections, etc. She has experience in the treatment of HIV/AIDS and opportunistic infections in these patients.
