Dr. Haresh Dodeja completed his MD (Med) from GMC, Mumbai and DNB Nephrology from Jaslok Hospital. He received his Royal College Fellowship in Nephrology from Leicester general hospital in 2005, with special training in renal obstetrics and long-term management of transplant patients. He joined Professor John Feehally, well-respected teacher and president of the Renal Association to train with him at the Leicester General Hospital for a year. While at Leicester, he picked up training in all the procedures like dynamic ultrasound guided biopsy and insertion of Permacaths. Dr. Dodeja has done the first live related, first cadaver, and first ABOi transplant in the locoregional area of Thane Mulund. He has written for Oxford publications in their desk reference for Nephrology. He currently heads the Department of Nephrology and Transplant at Fortis Hospital Mulund, since its inception. He has an active interest in renal obstetrics and transplantation medicine.
Dr. Haresh received training in the long term care of the renal transplant patients at Jaslok Hospital.
