Dr. Kapil Kochhar

Dr. Kapil Kochhar, Additional Director - General & Laparoscopic Surgery  at Fortis Hospital, Noida, UP is a leading name in minimally invasive surgery with a career spanning over two decades of clinical and teaching experience. He specialises in minimal invasive surgery, laparoscopic surgery and endourology. Dr. Kochhar completed his MBBS and MD (General Surgery) degrees from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi before he began his service in public and private sector hospitals. Along with working in the private sector at leading healthcare chains like Fortis Hospital, Max Hospitals, Lions Hospital & Research Centre, Artemis Health Institute and Apollo Hospitals, he has focused his efforts towards various non-profitable initiatives. He established the first IVF centre in Kabul, Afganisthan, organised OPD camps in Malawi, Nigeria and India. He has been instrumental in helping young surgeons set up laparoscopic units in various states of the country. He is also the founding member of an NGO called Help Aids India Foundation (HAIF).
