Dr. (Maj) R.K.Bhardwaj is an eminent ENT Surgeon, carrying significant expertise and experience in the field of Otolaryngology. After completing MBBS in 1982, Dr.Bhardwaj served the Army Medical Corps for 15 years. During this tenure, he was posted at several Infantry Battalions and military locations, such as, Siachen Glacier, Jaffna at Sri Lanka, and the prestigious Army Hospital (R&R Hospital) at Delhi Cantonment. During these years, he also completed his Diploma in ENT from Mayo Hospital at Nagpur, followed by MS in ENT from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Poona. Since 1997, he has been practicing at various hospitals, such as, Sitaram Bhartia Institute, Max Med Centre, Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Command Hospital, and many more. Dr. Bhardwaj is quite adept at performing Skull Base Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus & Ear Surgery, and other Endoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgeries. He takes special interest in treating Laryngotracheal Stenosis, Throat Tumors, and Throat Cancers. His extensive knowledge and experience have gained him several awards and recognitions, such as, Silver Medal for ranking first at AFMC, Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card, and a recognized Post Graduate Guide of Delhi University. He has also held key memberships in the past, such as, Past President of the ENT Association, South Delhi Branch; Ex-President, Ex-Secretary & Editor of Association of Otolaryngology; and Member of the Pilot Project initiated by Indian Government for setting up a National Program for Prevention of Deafness. He has also served as a Health Consultant for various health programs for several television channels.
