He completed his MBBS from  King George's Medical College, Lucknow University in 1997. His keen interest in orthopediatrics saw him doing MS in Orthopaedics from Government medical College and Hospital in Patiala. He has also done MSc in Orthopaedics from Wrightington Hospitals and University of Central Lancashire, UK.
