Dr. Vikas Gupta

Dr. Vikas Gupta the HOD - Neurosurgery in Neurological Hall, Pusa Road, New Delhi. His educational qualifications include an MBBS and an MS in General Surgery from the DMC Ludhiana & Punjab University, Chandigarh; an MCh in Neurosurgery from the G B Pant Hospital & MAMC, Delhi University; and a Fellowship in Interventional Neuro- Radiology from the Institute of Neuro-radiology, University of Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland. In 18 years of medical practice, Dr. Gupta has developed a special interest in Endovascularneurosurgery/InterventionalNeuro-Radiology, Cerebrovascular surgery, Minimal invasive spine surgery and spine reconstructions, spine deformity, Neuro oncology. He has been performing neuro- endovascular procedures for more than 17 years and is one of the few Neurosurgeons in India who are formally trained in both micro-neurosurgeries as well as neuro- interventional surgeries. He is also a member of many prestigious medical societies of India and abroad, some of which include: Neurological Society of India, Skull Base Society of India, Spinal Surgeons Association of India, Delhi Neurological Association, Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Medical Association, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Indian Society of cerebrovascular Surgery, and Indian Society of Neuro-anesthesiology and Critical Care.
