What is social phobia?

It is a kind of Social Anxiety Disorder, a condition in which there is a continuous fear of being around people. Teens having social phobia generally suffer from low self -esteem and always have fear of being criticised. Socially phobic teens avoid talking to strangers, interacting with them, talking to them over phone and working with them

Safe sex means taking proper precautions during sexual activity to avoid pregnancy, and remain protected from the Sexually Transmitted diseases (STD). Condoms are generally made of latex and used during intercourse which prevents pregnancy. It also acts a shield against Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

What are Sexually transmitted diseases?

Diseases that get transmitted mostly as a result of direct physical contact (intercourse or oral sex) are called Sexually Transmitted Diseases or STDs. For example: HIV/Aids, Syphilis, Genital Herpes, etc.

Myths about STD?

STD from a toilet seat -It is wrong because STD infection dies as soon as they are out of the body for a long time.

Pills protect against STD - It is wrong because pills just protect from pregnancy, not from any STD

What is Sexual harassment?

Sexual harassment or bullying refers to comments, action, offending statements targeting a person's looks, body parts or sexual orientation. Sexual harassment may be oral or by action and likewise bullying can be done by sending improper text, pictures or video. Anyone who is facing sexual harassment, must bring this up with the appropriate authorities, such as, HR of work place, police authorities, women cell, helplines, etc.
